Kampfer checks in

This post isn't 2011 draft-related, but should appeal to Bruins fans just the same. Had a chance to talk to Boston defenseman Steve Kampfer after the morning skate Thursday, just a few hours before he scored his fifth goal of the season on a nice point drive after he took a pass from Rich Peverley, skated along the blue line to the middle of the point and unleashed a low drive that beat Tampa goalie Mike Smith to tie the score at one goal apiece. Milan Lucic scored the game-winner with less than four minutes to play in the third.

But, I wanted to get Kampfer's perspective on the organization given his meteoric rise from Anaheim fourth-round pick in 2007, to 2010 trade deadline acquisition afterthought to sensational AHL rookie (who received invite to All-Star Game but declined because he was in Boston) to NHL defenseman all (save for being drafted of course) in less than a year.

The video quality isn't great-- there was a lot of ambient noise in the background, and the question about Boston's organizational depth is the last one I ask him, so apologies in advance.
